In the mid 1980’s Colleen began a career in the airlines where she was quickly promoted to Customer Service Supervisor. Throughout her airline career, Colleen was formally trained and excelled in her customer service abilities. Recognizing her passion and aptitude for computers, Colleen enrolled in an Electronics Engineering Technician for Computers program where she graduated from Seneca College in 1994, with a 4.0 grade point average. Since that time Colleen has worked in the computer industry. Her experience has included the assembling and upgrading of computers, fabricating cables to interface with computers, and the setting up of small networks. She has provided one on one tutoring and in class teaching. She has written technical manuals. She has been contracted to perform inmate computer inspections on behalf of Corrections Canada. She has worked in telephone technical support for internet service providers. For the past 13 years colleen has been fully self-employed repairing, upgrading replacing computers. She assists her clients with their TVs, tablets, printers, telephones, cell phones etc. Colleen’s unique background of customer service in combination with her technical expertise and self-discipline, are a winning combination for a self-employed individual entering the service sector.
